Chalet Charbray

Nestled in the picturesque region of La Tzoumaz, Chalet Charbray is a splendid luxury residence boasting a sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi, offering breathtaking views of the valley and the resort. The expansive kitchen, living, and dining area features a captivating glass front, providing an awe-inspiring panorama of the surrounding mountains. Imbued with a sense of Swiss luxury, the entire chalet is tastefully decorated with a mountain theme, drawing inspiration from the Euro-American cross-breed of cows known as “Charbray,” a motif woven seamlessly throughout the property.

Accommodations comprise a Master Suite with direct access to the terrace’s hot tub and an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower, separate bath, and his’n’hers sinks. The adjacent double bedroom also offers terrace access and an en-suite shower room with a spacious double sink. Additionally, there’s a bedroom with twin beds and a family bathroom on this level. The bunk bedroom, equipped with a TV, accommodates up to four in single bunk beds, making it an ideal space for children. The chalet boasts three bathrooms, an extra shower in the sauna area, and a guest WC on the main living floor. For families with young children, high chairs and folding travel cots are available, and additional mattresses are not provided in adherence to safety guidelines.

The well-appointed kitchen features double refrigerators, two full-size Zug ovens, a plate-warming drawer, a 5-plate Siemens induction cooking surface, a separate freezer, and a Zug dishwasher, ensuring a delightful cooking experience for up to 10 guests. Beyond the essentials, the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle, toaster, electric filter coffee machine, and Nespresso coffee machine. Fondue and raclette sets add a touch of tradition for Swiss evenings by the log fire. A washing machine, dryer, iron, and hairdryer are available, and a portable gas barbecue facilitates outdoor cooking. The ski storage room contains three toboggans for winter enjoyment.

For relaxation, the terrace hosts a large jacuzzi hot tub with seating for five, offering stunning views of the Swiss Alps. The chalet’s privileged location beside a forest ensures absolute tranquility and privacy. A sauna with a separate shower caters to sports and relaxation enthusiasts. The living and dining area features a three-sided glass-protected chimney and fireplace, creating an elegant yet cozy ambiance. Expansive windows and sliding glass doors open onto the wrap-around balcony, providing breathtaking views from any angle. A charming mezzanine offers an additional reading, seating, and television-viewing area with its own delightful view. Watching the three TVs becomes a challenge as the ever-changing landscape outside the ample windows competes for attention. On clear days, the view extends up to 20km, encompassing the peaks of Haut de Cry and Mont Gond, which rise 2000m above the Rhone Valley floor. When snowfall graces the scene, the spectacle includes the drifting flakes settling over the traditional village of Iserables across the nearby valley.
