Chalet Al-Hada was built and occupied in the early 1990s by His Royal Highness Sultan Ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince of the Throne of Saudi Arabia since 2005, 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of defense and Aviation since 1962 until his death in 2011. The name of Chalet Al-Hada given by the Prince comes from a posh Saudi Arabian resort in the province from MAKKAH and means “tranquility”. A very well chosen name due to its location on Mont d’Arbois, 7 minutes from ski lifts and golf. Megève city center is 10 minutes away. The agreements signed between Israel and Palestine in 1993 were partially processed in the presence of Yasser ARAFAT, Yzthak RABIN and the Crown Prince at Chalet Al-Hada.

The Chalet, with a surface area of ​​approximately 2,000 M², was built in accordance with a protocol and to the dimensions of a royal family, distinguishing between the so-called “guest” parties and the staff parties (two elevators, two stairwells, very distinct living spaces).
