Nestled in the Italian resort town of Livigno, Chalet Akaroa is a high-end retreat, offering a blend of modern Alpine luxury and eco-friendly design. This lavish chalet features a wide range of wellness amenities and has five sleek, well-appointed bedrooms, accommodating between 8 and 13 guests.

Spanning 380 square meters over three main floors, Chalet Akaroa is a marvel of architecture and design. It showcases natural materials and upscale, sophisticated furnishings throughout. The ground floor serves as the chalet’s central hub, featuring a spacious, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area. Contemporary, plush sofas encircle a sleek, glass-fronted gas fireplace adorned with traditional wood and stone accents. The dining area, which boasts a solid wood table, is situated next to a wine rack filled with carefully selected bottles to complement your evening meals. The kitchen is not only roomy and fully equipped but also designed to harmonize with the chalet’s rustic wooden elements. Step outside, and you’ll find a terrace and a quaint garden area—ideal for kids to play in the snow.

The lower level of Chalet Akaroa is dedicated to wellness, offering a serene spa space filled with diverse relaxation options. Here, you’ll find a swim-spa equipped with massage jets and a countercurrent feature, allowing for a customizable aquatic experience. There’s also a sauna, Hammam, emotional showers, and a massage room—each providing a different form of relaxation after an exhilarating day on the slopes. Outside, in a private garden, you can indulge in the outdoor Jacuzzi. The spa area’s central lounge offers a calming ambiance with deck chairs, soft seating, and a soothing glow from modern lighting. Natural mountain elements, including wood and stone, are further enhanced by a stunning snowy mountain mural, perfect for unwinding.

The chalet’s five bedrooms include four doubles and one bunk room, providing flexible accommodation for large groups. The bedrooms strike a balance between rustic charm and contemporary style, featuring reclaimed wood, exposed beams, and stone accents alongside luxurious beds and sleek finishes. Many of the rooms have unique features, such as private or shared balconies, saunas, walk-in double showers, fireplaces, or open-plan shower spaces. One double bedroom even has a mezzanine level with an additional single bed.

On the lowest floor, a ski room with boot warmers and laundry facilities ensures your gear stays in top condition. Additional conveniences include a garage with parking for two vehicles and an internal elevator connecting the main floors, although it doesn’t extend to the attic-level bedroom.
